In order to encourage scientic research in Tax Law, the Sorbonne Tax Law Department (Sorbonne Law School - University of Paris 1) created a tax thesis since 2013.

The purpose for this award is to annually recognize and promote an outstanding Ph. D. thesis in the domain of Tax Law.
